Product Updates: Roblox Styles for Gaming Subcultures

CIPHER shipped its biggest product update in January: Roblox Styles.

Most Roblox creators don't build in a straight line. You test ideas, iterate assets, and change design direction halfway through. Roblox Styles solve this.

Five styles have been launched to make creation a breeze:

  • Colorful Cartoon: Bright, cozy roleplay aesthetics (Brookhaven RP, Welcome to Bloxburg, Adopt Me!)
  • Anime-Stylised Fantasy: Sharper details, higher energy visuals (Blox Fruits)
  • Realistic Lighting & PBR: Cleaner, detailed look for tycoon games and structured builds (Theme Park Tycoon 2)
  • Horror / Dark: Deeper shadows, eerie atmosphere for mystery games (Piggy Build Mode)
  • Meme / Surreal: Chaotic, ridiculous vibes for brainrot games (Steal a Brainrot)

Each style adjusts shape, proportions, lighting, materials, and overall vibe to match specific game genres.

In-Chat Documentation: No More Context Switching

The Official CIPHER Guide is now integrated directly into the CIPHER app.

Before: Users opened a separate guided document, found their answer, returned to CIPHER, then tried to apply it.

Now: Just ask CIPHER how to export to Roblox, rig for animation, optimize for mobile, or use any feature! Get accurate answers without leaving your conversation.

CIPHER learned its own product capabilities through documentation integration, leading to 71.2% higher quality technical answers (see Intelligence section below). But more importantly, creators stay in flow. No tab switching, no searching through guides, no breaking creative momentum.

Intelligence Metrics: Gaming Subculture Recognition

CIPHER's gaming intelligence improved significantly in January through three developments that directly shaped product features:

1. UNDERSTANDING PRODUCT CAPABILITIES

Integration of the Official CIPHER Guide taught CIPHER the specifics of its own functionality and export workflows.

Impact: 71.2% higher quality answers when evaluating hallucinations and answer precision.

Before: "Export to Roblox and adjust as needed."

Now: "Export to Roblox Studio using FBX format with quad topology for mobile optimization. Enable PBR materials if targeting realistic lighting style."

Product Result: In-chat documentation assistance that actually works. Creators get accurate technical guidance without leaving their workflow.

2. LEARNING GAMING SUBCULTURES

Roblox creator conversations trained CIPHER to recognize niche game styles and community trends.

The Discovery: Users mentioned specific Roblox experiences (Blox Fruits, Brookhaven, Steal a Brainrot, Piggy Build Mode) frequently enough that Cipher identified distinct visual languages for each subgenre. Cipher now draws from relevant past examples to inform current recommendations. It's building pattern recognition for gaming contexts.

Product Result: Roblox Styles. Instead of describing "colorful cartoon aesthetic with softer lighting and chunkier proportions like Brookhaven," creators select "Colorful Cartoon" and Cipher applies that learned context automatically.

The intelligence created the product.

3. DRAFT MODE ITERATION

Image-based draft generation addressed text-to-3D model limitations.

Why this matters: Text-to-3D services have smaller training sets and struggle with complex prompts. Image generation models handle detailed descriptions better, while Draft Mode lets users iterate visually before committing to full 3D generation.

Quality Impact: Draft Mode outcomes scored 9.53 versus 9.10 for direct text-to-3D generation.

International Expansion of Streamers

Just a month ago, our rocketship of international streamer partnerships set off, where gaming creators and streamers from countries such as USA, Mexico and France showcased CIPHER live on stream and interacted with their audiences in completely new ways.

This month, we're proud to share that CIPHER is now live with creators from Germany and India.

Creators building in real-time, taking audience suggestions, then using those assets in actual games minutes later - we're proud to have supported streamers in creating countless moments of truly participative, community-driven interactions.
